Finding us
Our office is in the Lincoln Building in the Historic 18th & Vine District, across the street from the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and the American Jazz Museum. Stop by, and see Charlie Parker’s white saxophone at the museum while you’re here.
In the 1920s and 1930s, 18th & Vine was the center of Black business and entertainment in Kansas City. Shut out of many white-owned stores, the community built its own, and the Lincoln Building stood at the heart of it, with shops, professional offices and dance halls. It was also home to the NAACP and the National Urban League as they fought for civil rights.
